Suspension Question

I have a 2003 supercab 4L and I notice if while driving if I go back and forth quickly with the steering wheel i hear a slight noise coming from the wheels almost like a popping sound. does this mean I need new balljoints?

Sway bar link. That would cause the knocking sounds when you turn. You can remove the links and sway bar with no safety problems. I removed mine when they snapped. Rides nice.

Replacing sway bar link is EASY. I have autozone ones and they are fine. MOOG makes some great ones as well.

All you need is a jack, sockets, wrenches, and a sawsall or grinder w/ a cutting wheel to get the old one off.

Swaybar end links, like mentioned. Easy to replace. The OEM ones like to rust into place. I use an oxy/acetylene cutting torch to get them off if they're stubborn. Makes removal easy as pie.

Any parts store will sell new ones. Replace them as a set. They cost around $20 each.
