The Explorer "Message Center" taps into several places and most of it would be straightforward. The Explorer has a washer fluid level sensor that is not on any Ranger and an oil level
sensor in the oil pan that is not on later Rangers. These would need to be added or jumped out.
The biggest potential problem is that the MC uses a fuel flow input from the PCM to calculate all of the trip computer functions (MPG, DTE, etc.). This is not wired on Rangers. Since the Message Center is not an option on Rangers, the value is probably not calibrated in the PCM and, for all I know, there may not even be
an output enabled on that pin from a Ranger PCM.
