I'm no salesman...but if someone came up to me, even if I was looking for a good cheeseburger and was like "hey wanna buy this crappy cheeseburger" I'd probably say no lol.

^^Exactly!
Yup....He says 'crappy vinyl floor' and I say 'crappy carpet floor'. It's an opinion....some hate vinyl floor, some love it(like me). Some hate carpet(like me), some love it.
Thread bump for OP. Vinyl floors FTW!

fuse box got moved to passenger kick panel in 04....panel is wider and carpet/vinyl is cut more there to clear it. it'll go into a 98-03 but it'll leave a hole in the floor there just to the left of the passenger kick panel. But if you run floor mats, I don't see it being much of an issue.

my 05 fx4 came with carpet i went to ford and bought the vinyl floor ($115 i belive it was)and tossed that carpet in the trash my mazda came with it so i didnt have to even mess with it on this truck vinyl is soooo much easyer to clean i vac mine up and hit it up with some armorall foaming wheel and tire cleaner and it looks brand new again

i had to move the fuse panel too
( it was a little bit of a hassle ) i got it to work for me
i did not cut out slots around the rear jump seats,, i just lifting and feeling for the holes and then marked them.
found the holes no problem ( had to use some force though )
made 1 cut mistake ,, but it was easliy hid by the floor cup holder
it took a-lot longer than i expected ,, but it is done and i am happy now
i still do not understand how small pepples got in places when there is no possible way to get in there

as far as the "crappy vynal" discussion goes, i'm 100% pro-vynal... i never understood why someone would put carpet into a vehicle that is intended to be used to haul stuff and get dirty... nor why ford would sell a carpeted bedliner
i could see someone buying your floor for like $50, i see that as a fair asking price FWIW

i have never liked nor will i ever like vinyl flooring in a vehicle
it makes it look cheap,, and it smells when heat is put to it
someone before me out 1 of those screw in anchors for floor mats
so i might as well GIVE IT AWAY!
just pay for shipping
