Buggman Reverse, Brake, Turn Signal LED'S (ky)

Alrighty boys & girls, here are some of my latest led creations...

Reverse, brake & turn signal modded led plug-ins for 3156 & 3157 bulbs (or their equivalent bulb #'s)

68 White 3156 reverse led's:

Click below for video

Pricing on the 68 white 3156's = $16 per pair shipped FREE in the USA (Canada shipping will be a couple bucks more)

- - - - -

102 White 3156/3157 reverse/brake/turn led's:

Click below for video

These 102 led's are all made as 3157 dual brightness but will work just fine in the 3156 reverse bulb locations.

120 White 3156 led's

68 Red 3157 led's

42 Amber 3157 led's

Click below for video

Pricing for the 42 Amber 3157 led's = $18 per pair shipped FREE in the USA

- - - - -

13 Amber 3157 led's

Sorry no video for these, I forgot.
They have nearly identical light output as the 42 led versions, these use 5050 style led's that have 3 emitters per led. These led's are shorter than the 42 led version for those of you who want to hide them as much as possible in clear corner/turns.

Pricing for the 13 Amber 3157 led's = $16 per pair shipped FREE in the USA

All of the 3156 led's are made as single brightness, the highest possible brightness the led's will output at all times.

All of the 3157 led's are made as dual brightness, lower brightness for parking lights, etc and full brightness for brakes, etc.

One thing to note, if you have custom tail lights such as Altezza lights with the shorter depth bulb housings you will need to contact me about shorter led's for those locations. These led's may be approximately 1/4" to 1/2" too long to fit in those housings.
I am in the process of finding/modding some similar brightness led's in a shorter package for you guys/gals.

You folks with the "06 and up" style front turn signals & marker lights, I haven't forgot about the smaller 194 style bulbs... I'm looking for the brightest led's I can find for those locations that will match the color of the amber led's as closely as possible.

These led's should work in most every 3156 or 3157 bulb location. They're a simple plug-in swap.

I have tried to mod these led's to give the best possible light in every instance. I realize not everybody can afford the brightest or most expensive led's, but I've designed the less expensive led's with the same intentions: maximum light for minimum money.

The white 3157 led's WILL work in the brake/turn locations, but it's my personal opinion that the red led's have a more vibrant red color than the white led's do.
All of the videos were done using either a clear 96 corner light or an 01 tail light. All of the led's were tested using one of my small adjustable power supplies set to about 12.5v DC. When your vehicle is running, you're likely to see 13v to 14.5v which means these led's will be EVEN BRIGHTER.

The amber led's don't seem to be quite as bright as amber incandescent bulbs, but nearly all of the amber/yellow led's I've tested tend to have less light output than incandescent bulbs.
On the positive, the color is much nicer on the led's.

I DO NOT have large quantities of these led's, I only mod a few at a time as funds & parts are available so don't delay if you'd like a set, drop me a PM.

Disclaimer:
Buggman led's may cause itchy, watery eyes, ringing of the ears, nose bleeds, diarrhea, foaming of the mouth, gout, dizziness, loss of appetite, sudden weight gain, hair loss, hair growth, numbness in the extremities, back pain, toe jam and shortness of breath. If you experience these symptoms call a doctor! There's something wrong with you

Very nice!

What do you think about a package discount for buying a set for the whole truck? Its got to be cheaper to ship a bunch together.

Those reverse lights would be sweet with an extra switch. Perfect for a flood light/don't tailgate me light.

Your 99 should have the 3 bulb tail light setup, a 3156 single brightness reverse bulb & 3157 dual brightness bulbs for the brakes & turns.

I'm almost finished with some 3156 & 3157 120 white led's & I'm working on some new ideas for the 68 white & 68 red led's.

I also have some 68 white 3156's & 102 white 3156/7's made up now.

They're all direct plug-in replacements for the 3156/3157 bulbs too.

Of course the 120 white led's are the brightest I've found, but the 68 & 102 white led's are plenty bright as well.

Do you have pics of how you make them? Just curious as to what goes into making something like this. Seems like a lot of work and defiantly way over my head, just wanted to see a process.

Oh and I sold the F150 so that last post is null and void now. lol

HA!

Well, maybe I'll have some for your new vehicle

I don't have any pics of the modding process, but here's a LINK to my photobucket pics/vids for these led's.
They're not too bad to do once you get the hang of it, just takes patience & time.
