I have decided that for my initial FIVE sets of these, I'm going to do an insane pricing deal.
This is a ONE TIME deal, open to the First FIVE Paid Pre-Orders.
I'm going to be posting this offer on two other Ranger sites as well & the offer stands for the first five paid pre-orders from either or any combination of the 3 sites.
Either style: Original (flush) or New (outline) for only $40.00 shipped in the USA.
That's priced per pair (two led plates) including my power supply/voltage regulator, foam tape applied to both sides & quick connectors to make the install as simple as possible.
Note that the fender badges are NOT included.
I'm currently working on making some blank panels so I can install the led's & have them ready to go as soon as I possibly can.
They'll still take a few days to make each set and I'm currently waiting on an order of ORANGE led's which should hopefully arrive in a few weeks.
Currently, I have Yellow, Red, White, Blue & a limited number of Green led's to use.
After the first FIVE sets have been spoken for, pricing WILL go up... so gather up some of that Christmas Cash you just got & grab a set before the First Five are gone.
I'll update the thread ASAP when the First Five have been spoken for.
I got my set last night. Should be installing either tonight or tomorrow. Kit looks very well built. Only saw one thing that concerns me. There is a contour to the fenders and the badge and the plexi is flat, we will see how all this works out.
So do you have your price set for these yet? I couldn't find the reply to my post anymore but you had said about the 9inch emblems, I'm not sure about the size I'd have to measure for the rear but if the price is right i'd be in for a red rear and some amber v2.0 sides
I'm still thinking of the Price Is Right "suggested retail price". I need to make a few bucks on them but I don't want to get them so expensive that nobody can afford them either.
I have jigs made up for the ovals from 4 1/2" wide up to 9" wide right now, just need to get some blanks cut out & drilled out for the led's.
(slightly off topic)
If anyone has any Ford ovals larger than 9" wide on their truck (or if you're wanting to put them on your truck) let me know. If you don't mind sending me your jumbo sized oval to make templates from, I should be able to make led rings for them too.
All of the "First Five" are finished & the last couple are almost ready to send out.
That brings us to the next round.... The Next Four sets.
Another Special Pricing run of FOUR sets, either the Original Flush Mount or the New Outline version, your choice of colors: Red, White, Blue, Yellow or Orange... and SOON I'll have enough led's for Green.
This time around they're FREE Plus $45 shipping & handling per set (sorry no combined shipping discounts)
Shipping for the first 5 was more than I anticipated
For you guys with the same 06+ style fender badges on your tailgates... I'm going to be making some SINGLE led badge plates so you can add some additional lighting to your tailgates. I'm thinking the New Outline style will be the most popular version for this as they'll give more light than the Original Flush version, but I'll leave that up to you.
You can connect them to your running/parking/license plate lights, to your brake lights or to a dedicated switch in the cab.
Check your local ordinances, etc. concerning different colored lights on the rear of your trucks, but I believe either Red, Orange or Yellow should be OK in most areas.
Please note: I can't be held responsible for any issues you may encounter with your local authorities if you choose a color that they don't approve of.
The Single Badge Plates will run $25 each FREE shipping in the USA (Shipping to Canada will likely be a little more).
I have a few of each style led badge plate cut out, some have already been drilled for led's, just waiting to install the color YOU want.
Assembly of these should go a little quicker than the first batch as I'm developing & improving my assembly techniques with each set I do. Still, please allow about a week after payment for them to be completed.... especially during the freezing winter weather. I'm freezing my butt off as it is now
As before, I'll update the thread as these 4 sets are spoken for.
Some guys have said they didn't have the little gap with theirs, but it should be simple enough to drop the badges down about 1/4" to 1/2" lower than stock to hit a flatter part of the fender with less curve. I doubt if anyone would notice that small difference unless they measured it
Kinda odd because the badges fit flush at the same location & they're flat on the back just like the led plates
