I have a 97 standard cab into which I installed 2000 Explorer buckets . I have been searching for months for a wrecking yard console, and am losing confidence in ever finding one. Gray/black interior, column shift auto, just basic bin, armrest, cup holder. Located in SF bay area. Reasonable please

Following your suggestion,got a clean console with armrest, at a very fair price, and installed this weekend. Replacing the commercial bench with this setup has greatly improved the cabin comfort level

 

It normally does, only down side is decreasing the seating capacity. But 3 big people in the front seat of a ranger isn't all that fun anyways.

 

Also in the bay Area a 2 seat pick-up gets you on the bridges with 1 less passenger
