is that 8.8 axel off of an expo? does it have a locker?

 

No it's just a Ranger 8.8. I have another 8.8 i'm about to gut for the 4.10's that has a mini spool in it.

 

so its posi? im lookin for a locker-ed axel. arent all of these 8.8s posi-ed?

 

No, the 8.8's I have are all open. The min-spool goes in place of the spider gears. A min-spool isn't as strong as a full spool but it locks both axle shafts together at all times.

 

Just pulled the mini-spool and threw it in the trash. It had apparently busted at one time and the guy welded it.

 

One 8.8 sold.
