Fog Lights

I would like to buy two (2) original equipment fog lights for a 97 Ranger STX, 4x4, Super cab. The lights are round and are about four and a half inches wide and what I have read, any year after 1997 will not fit. I am located in the middle Tennessee area. Thanks.

when i bought my truck they we're broke. so i took of those extremly overkill brackets for the original fog lights, and did a little fabrication and put 2008 F-150 lights in there. just welded them strait to the inside of the bumper. for the plugs, i just clipped the original connector, used this little trick i learned from another mechanic. Take a small style spade connector, and put it on the prong and fill the space with hot glue.

then you get, this

Thanks for the info. My lights were also broken when I bought the truck and I thought about doing something like you suggested but thought if I could find original lights, that would be easier for me. You mentioned the assembly/bracket for the OE lights. When I first saw this I thought this must be a tow point or something similiar, not something to attach fog lights with. Thanks again.

Thanks for the info. I will be at one of the store locations Monday to see what I can see. The lights there have to be much cheaper as I called a Ford dealership and their price was about $110. each. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

One of my lenses fell off a few years ago & rather than spend $75 each for new OEM lights, I got a pair of $20 fog lights from WallyWorld... just recently changed the bulbs to yellow & a little modding is needed to get them to mount properly, but it beats $150 for OEM lights.

Mine cost $16 each at O'Reilly's and were actually cheaper since I bought them through work ($9 each).
