Good to hear! I think they will set the truck off since the only chrome I have is the grille. It'll be a nice addition. I personally like the "j" ones best. When u hook to these (not that ill ever have to) do u hook around the end or through the middle of the hook?

You have to hook through the middle on the non- J style ones. All it means is that you're going to have to pick up another D shackle to use it.

Personally, they're both good, but I prefer the looks of my J style hooks. I guess I got lucky when I bought them off of ebay for $40.

Yep, that's right. You could use a shackle too if you wanted to, but that's not really necessary.

Yeah I don't think I'd use metal on those tow hooks. I'm too particular. I'd just take and put the loop around the hook (I guess that's how u do it, I've never had to pull ne thing out yet). Time to read up on that.

I talked to Shane a little. He says that the slot in the valance would probably have to be trimmed a little for the "J" ones to clear. I DO NOT want to do this. I'm too particular. Any thoughts on this? Hoz pm sent on the tow hooks
