explorer seats

im getting ready to install a set of leather heated power explorer seats in 2006 ranger. i need some information on the seat belt buckles. i have read on here and other sites that i have to use the buckles from my truck not the expo buckles. apparently the expo buckles wont latch. this is false they will latch. maybe i missed something? any words of wisdom would help alot

Yeah, if the expo buckles give you problems just unbolt the Ranger buckles from the sides of the seats and use those instead. They are just bolted onto the side of the seat and are exactly the same length as the explorer buckles! Easy switch, just need a Torx bit. A T45 or 50 I think!
