It looks pretty bad but with some leather conditioner and a hair dryer/heat gun you might be able to save it??

yeah, that can be salvaged. might take some work, but i think it can be used. did you pull the stuff off the seat, or was it already off?

I pulled the stuff off of the seat. there was a floormat on it with a control arm with an entire brake system on it. This picture was taken last year, the **** is back on the seat again after i threw it on the ground. I'm going today to throw everything in the back of the truck instead and let it sit for a while to see if the indents come off. The dirt came off no problem i made the seat shiny and clean but it was still messed up. I'll take a picture of what it looks like when i leave and post it here.

depending on how bad it's torn, and how much you can get them for, it may be worth it to get it repaired.

haha mine are fine I just like the style of those better because they have a headrest. I went to my local yard with someone from this forum and he got so much stuff for his truck. He'll have a lot of wiring to do.

I noticed it says a sport-trac seat , do they fit in the ranger ?
Ive been looking at putting leather buckets , In my ranger from an
Explorer , I have found a couple considerations thus far ,
fore most usually all the trucks you fiind have the power driver seat ,
or both and the batterys dead and the keys gone , this makes it near
impossible to get at the back bolts , also that damm seat slider ,
would have to be drilled on the side of the concave for the tranny ,
Any comments welcome

when i go to the yard to pull power explorer seats, i take my 12v craftsman cordless drill and two pieces of wire. i pull the battery out of the drill and hook it to the seat.

as for the bar the seat belt is attached to, when putting them into 98+ reg cabs, you can just get rid of that bar and mount your seat belt directly to the inside of the seat.

Do you have a picture of this mount?

At that position does the buckle seem too high or is it about the same height? Just looking at the pic it looks a lil high. Great pics BTW

Theyre about the same height maybe 1/4" higher but nothing major.

You just gotta bore out that hole that you can see metal shavings on in the first picture.

Not much room at all but it worked out fine. i put red lock tite on it because i don't want that coming loose at all incase an accident
my truck didn't have pretensioners like that so i didn't even have to worry bout that bulky thing haha

it's odd that your truck doesn't have pretensioners. all 98+ should have them. do you have an airbag light on?
