Noise inside of cab

Hey, I have a 2001 Ranger Edge, extended cab, and ever since i bought it last april, theres been a squeaking noise in the cab, evertime i go over a bump or something of that sort. could it be the door alignment or something?

Are you sure it is inside the cab? Maybe leaf springs? Have you greased your truck lately?

Mine's in the passenger side door. I think (I may be wrong on this, BUT) that the door panel was put on real loose. I noticed the other day when I was looking at the panel that the paint around the panel was scratched as if the panel is loose and moving around. This might not be the squeaking, but it's worth a check because it is pretty frikin' annoying.

Hey guys i found a fix, in my truck, the noise was coming from the upper part of the door, what i did was spray some WD-40 where the door connects with the truck, I dont know what to call it, just spray some in there and the noise is gone, I love it, sounds way better now.

Knock on wood, but I've been squeek free for quite some time now. Squeeks and rattles are hard to find and fix.....especially for us who are online and can't see or hear it. Many folks in here gave had something rattle or squeek at one point. You just have to pin point it as close as you can, then attack it to find it when you're not driving.
