Armrest mount question.-Pics added.

Hello,
I just bought an armrest for my 94 ranger off ebay. My truck has never had one since i bought it (last owner took it out). I was told it just bolts in the seat. It wont screw in because where it bolts to there is no nut. Since its never had one Im not sure how its supposed to bolt on. It also has a little plate hanging over the Hole and im not sure whats that's for. I will have to get some pics soon So you can see what Im talking about.

There is the plate that gos over the hole in the seat. And the other is the side of armrest

Ill take a pic of the truck seat in the morning

I took some more pictures, The thing I cant seem to figure out is, Whether if its supposed to be bent like that. Hopefully soon someone can elaborate on this.

I must be missing some hardware somewhere, Supposedly the I should be able to screw this into the seat no problem but last owner has obviously removed the nut.

It is supposed to be curvy like that? The holes not lined with the pin, And it looks like that pin is what keeps the armrest from going down to far and back too far.

It looks like the guy twisted it out. But Its hard to tell, I thought it might have been made that way.

If I remember my 96 right that mounting bracket was smooth and not bent back like that.

How wore out are the seats?

There are a lot of threads in here RPS Gen, Egde, the ranger station, on swaping out the seats in these trucks..

Well I think that part is welded to the seat frame, I think I can flatten it out some with a little work.

I bent everything fairly straight and now I just need a washer to make it work.

SOrry for the triple post. Today I got a nut and got it in. It's twisted slighty I think but its hard to tell. But it looks good, and its really cool to actually have an armrest I'm going to replace the nut with a locking nut so it wont loosing when I put it up.
