Power Windows & Locks Kit

Does anyone know of a good aftermarket power windows and locks kit for a 2000 Ranger? I would rather go factory, but my truck is not wired for it so I figure aftermarket would probably be the best bet. If anyone can point me in the right directions I would appreciate it very much.

I hear that A-1 makes a good kit for power windows, not sure on the locks. I'd like to do this as well.

I installed the A-1 power locks/keyless entry in my truck a couple of weeks ago. Good stuff. I'd avoid the cheaper stuff on eBay myself.

I think its like 200 but don't quote me on that. The kit doesn't come with switches, but i'd rather make it look factory myself.

Honestly, I did the A1 Electric power window conversion, and used the stock door panel inserts with switches and it looks factory installed. With the keyless entry, I used a cheap Ebay kit (about 49 bucks) and it's been installed for almost 2 years with no problems!

Yeah I think that I am going to go with the Ebay lock it and keyless entry and the A-1 kit for the power windows. Stephen, how did you cover the hole where the window crank was on yours after the conversion? Also did you hook up your power lock kit to the factory buttons also?

The A-1 kit I purchased was $109.95. It was an upgrade, and their basic power locks/keyless entry kit is $99.95:

2 door power locks and keyless entry

The one I bought upgrades the keyless entry system to a Directed Electronics keyless entry system, who makes Clifford and Viper alarm systems, for $10 more:

2 door power locks w/ 712T keyless entry

The A-1 kit includes everything you need, except maybe a few washers or nuts to space out the power lock actuators from the door. Other than that you are good to go. It's not too difficult to install, it just takes a little time to tear everything to peices (door panels, the dash panel under the steering wheel), mount the actuators, bend the rods precisely to line up w/ the lock rods, time the actuators, run the wires through the boots to the doors, tie everything up out of the way, mount the relays, get it all back together, etc. Where you have to mount the actuator rods in the door on the Rangers, it's pretty difficult to get in there to time (center) them w/ the locks, and tighten the keepers. Kind of working blind. Other than that, it's pretty straightforward, just time consuming.

The keyless entry fob on the latter system I purchased is not much bigger than the black part on your Ranger key. pretty nice stuff:
