Regular cab and storage space, what does everyone do?

I know storage space is limited in the regular cab and the simplicity of it is why I got the truck to begin with. Just wondering what everyone does with there winter gear, tools and guns in their regular cab?

I bought a hard bed cover and that helps a lot. I maximize my use of all available space as best I can. Wet wipes/paper towels under the seats, ice scraper behind the driver seat on the floor. My tools are all in the back in a metal toolbox. I've also got a highlift jack, regular hydraulic jack, lug wrench, bailing wire, a bunch of wooden blocks to level the jack, spare lug nuts, an old military ammo box full of chains/clevis'/jerk strap, and it's all locked up under that hard bedcover.

I'm planning on getting a set of door panels that have the pockets on them to add a little more storage space to the cab.

ya you just have to get creative with under the seats and behind them. I also broke down and bought a hard cover to lock everything up

Std Cab and Step Bed really reduces the storage space.

Bed Box
Hard Cover with lock
Small trays behind the seats
Buckets and Center Console
Alon’s Flash Light Mount

Are you handing it on the hook? Does it interfere with visibility?

Bought a hard Cab-Hi bed cap. Everything goes in back, adds weight for traction, and keeps the cab clean. :-) contemplating a 2x4 partition/shelving system as well.

I have an extended cab but I will soon get a shelving system from americanvan.com which will work well with the standard cab as well. They have two sizes, one for our pickups and the full-size ones. You can also get a free catalog from them after logging on to their site.

I have been looking loosely for shelving or storage boxes that will fit behind the seats. I was thinking about putting a custom sloped tool box back there.

I had considered getting one of those shelfs that mount where your visors bolt in. My uncle has one in his van and it's solid as hell. He has a lot of weight on it at all times..
