explorer OHC install

well i dont have anything but before and after pics but i took a overhead console out of a 96 explorer with the wiring harness and intergrated it into mine.

took a good amount of time and alot of patience.

what it does is show outside temp, direction, and it has dome/map lights with a spot for a garage door opener.

You'll want to use John Grigg's tip about stuffing something (old cut-out headliner pieces work well) underneath the headliner in that area. This forces the headliner down from the roof so when you mount the OHC it pushes back up on the headliner, ending up nice and flush against it.

Worked for me.

You can also try bending the mounting bracket and/or drilling new screw holes in the bracket to help pull the console up closer to the roof.
