that star thing is called a Torx bits....i can't remember what size, but get yourself a small set for about $30 from Sears, that way you have them when you want to take the seats out...

I think I used an allen wrench to remove mine

I've got a thousand allen wrenches and thought I'd try it before buying a Torx set, yeah I'm ghetto. I thought it'd strip the key but it didn't.

Yeah just buy a set cause i beleive you at least need 2 different torx sizes. I think i used a t-45 for the seatbelt and t-35 for the seats..

I used a 6mm allen wrench the first time I think, but it was much much easier with the torx bit. I do believe it was t45 and t35 for the different bolts. Be careful because not all the sets at sears have a t45 included. I don't think any of them had a t45 when I looked. Had to buy it seperately.

I just removed my jumpseat yesterday. It uses a T-50 on both the mounting bolt and the bolt holding the seatbelt to the jumpseat.
