1994 to newer one dash swap

Yesterday i bougth a burgundy 1994 4x4 4.0 5 speed ranger for a 300 bucks, i want to swap the dash for a 1995 o newer one, also i want to know if the gage cluster will work, and if the 4x4 switch of the newer one will work for me, i´m tinking about a 2002 ford explorer dash, what do you guys think? it will fit on my truck?. will be a good mod.

I think you would need the whole dash harness and then you would need the newer powertrain harness to work with the dash harness.

they redesigned the dashes in 95 and they stayed the same until 03

you'll definitely need a whole new harness

i know rangers, have the same dash since 1995, i want to swap one of these, bui i want to know if i can swap a 02-05 ford explorer dash, because it will be a god custom mod, if the sizes are diferent or i cant do that i will swap the dash for a newer ranger.

I think the 02-05 explorers are a bit wider than the older ones. So my guess is not without some serious chopping. In which case you might as well just make your own.

ok, i will instal a 95-04 ranger dash swap i will need the complet dash, wire harnes, and gauge cluster, it´s only plug in?, will work with my oem computer?, and the new 4wd switch, will work with the new harnes? tal will came form a 4wd newer ranger

There is so much more than the harness:

Heater box is completely different, firewall, mounting points, HVAC system (cable to electronic), speedometer (cable to electronic), steering column, door panels, wiring harness and more . . . I was tempted, but decided not to.
