Carpet to vinyl swap help

So tomorrow me and a buddy are swapping my carpet for the vinyl scott b sent me. Ive been looking through korey's tutorial and just wanted to know if anyone has any tips? The trim just pops out right? All ill need is a torx 55 bit and smaller wrenchs for the jack plate right?

measure twice cut once..i did the same swap..its easy..scissors and a razor blade..

Its vinyl from his old truck, everythings cut.

well its the thought that counts..

fine here -- the plastic pieces just grip and rip..be careful you dont smash em the wrong way putting them back on..if I can remember correctly on my truck it was just a socket not a torx..

Now thats some info! haha jk.

I appreciate your help. Do I have to remove the kick panels also? How does the cupholder come out below the dash?

yes the kick panels come out -- everything that touches the vinyl..

if you look into the cup holder pieces there should be a rubber piece pull that up..and either see some screws or this flat head lookin thing. Spin it and pull up..its some weird screw lock down thingy..easy to take out tho..

Okay one last question, how do I remove the trim around the jumpseat?

Actually one more, are the seat bolts and seat belt bolts held in with any locktite or anything?

ahh no loctite -- just use a 3/8s or 1/2 ratchet

the pieces around the jump seats i believe are clips as well..that was one of the first pieces out of my truck..so its been 4-5 years..cant remember on those
