The bulbs behind my instrument cluster burnt out. I am not the most technically inclined person but I can handle a few minor repairs. I was wondering how hard it is to replace the bulbs because I don't want to pay the outrageous fee to have someone else do it. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks

Its pretty easy. Few screws here... bolt or 2 there. A few burnt out on me a little while ago and i upgraded to some LED bulbs. What year is your truck?

 

Thanks for the help, yea cummins kid its an 03. Im thinking I'll replace all of them so that I don't have to worry about it again.

 

i did leds. if you go led's make sure you get the SMD style. they put out nice even light and look super crisp!

 

LOL. Replacing the bulbs is the easy part. Getting to the cluster and getting it out is just a PITA. Not difficult if you can use a ratchet.

I would definitely go LEDs, as they will probably outlast your truck.

i put some in mine a while back and 3 have stopped working. one never worked but now its 3 :-\ time for a swap agian
