Tryin to find a leak/LED Mod
alright well the other day me and my buddy started rippin my dash and interior apart so i can find a damn leak. Everytime it rains my carpet jus gets flooded with water and i got a new windshield installed so i know its not that and the rear window is mint. So my only other choice had to be from the firewall and from what ive heard its a common problem with 2nd gen rangers. Could this be where its leaking from?
And second im installing some blue Led tube lights under my dash once it goes back in, i got them from crappy tire $70 for both, theyre 12 inch blue led strobe lights with 6 or 7 diff functions.
Heres the carnage
the headliner came out for another mod which i will hopefully get done today and get some pics later.

lol its not as bad as i thought it would be. I didnt wanna rip the dash out only because i was afraid of screwin somthin up but its all electrical connections and two linkages for the a/c and heat so it really wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. Any suggestions for anything i could do while my dash is apart? lol oh and how i keep condensation from forming in between the headliner and the roof? when i pulled the headliner out water was everywhere not a lot but enough to worry me some.

The headliner is a laminate and I believe it's moisture impervious. I don't think you can stop condensation without some kind of "drying" system of chemicals or airflow and it's more trouble than it's worth I would think.
I just would ignore it unless you're putting something up there that could suffer for it?

im installing cab lights on the roof of the truck so there will be some wiring, but what im doing is wrapping the connections in shrink tubing and then when i install them ill wrap the connectors in electrical tape so no water gets in and thats about it.

I wouldn't worry about it then. If it's dry out when you put it all together again, it'll not have much up there to condense.
If you only noticed it after you saw it after it sat apart overnight, that's probably pretty normal as you've now exposed that area to outside air. Generally, there's not much air space up there to hold enough moist air to give you much condensation when it's assembled I believe.
