Whats behind my back wall?

I have a 2 door, and the area behind my seats is pretty much wasted space. I have some ideas Id like to conquer but need information first.

the back wall of my cab is just plastic, but what is behind it? Id like to maybe hand a ABC fire extinguisher back there, maybe a first aid kit as well. tho I dont want to lay the stuff on the floor, because stuff rolling around on the floor drives me right up a wall, plus, sometimes i put fragil stuff back there that i dont want broke.

so, whould the back wall support a fire extinguisher?

are you taking about the FAR back wall or the side walls of the cab? the back wall behind it is metal. the rear of the truck behind is double walled metal. the metal you touch on the inside isnt the same as the outside of the truck do not tamper with this its part of the structure

I'd recommend getting a thin piece of metal (an old license plate??) and cutting a portion the same size as the mounting location of the fire extinguisher. Drill holes in the plastic paneling or the carpeted area and slide the plate behind it. Screw in some 1/4" or 1/2" self-tapping screws into that and it will hold!
