un-doing a cut thru...
my buddy had a cut thru done to his ranger, and for reasons (more trouble that it was worth) he decided to remove the box and insulation....
now, theres a big *** hole in the back of the cab and front of the bed...hes got a hard bed cover so its not that bad...
but we're gonna try to seal it up...what would be the best way?
i was thinking of getting sheet metal and applying some silicone caulk stuff and then riveting the metal to the back of the cab, then another sheet of metal to the bed....does this sound like a good way to go about it?

yah i know about welding....that would be the ideal method...but we dont know how to, nor do we have the equipment...so yah....
no c notch...we cut a square hole in the back of the cab and a same size square in the front of the bed...in essense a hole into the bed....for his speakerbox to go...hes got single cab and he was rockin 2 12" sony silver p5 subs with 2 Sony 1600w amps..but he's selling the system and going back to stock....now he wants to bag his truck...but we're just gonna seal the cab up for now...
