New idea!!!

ok well i have a standard cab truck and i have been thinking this is my plan... work with me here....... ok i am going to cut a hole from the bed to the cab of the truck and put a piece of the flexiable plastic between there. in the bed i will build a box to hold my subs bolt it down and cover it with the bed liner stuff... then cut out the bottom of my tool box so when it rests on the box you cant see it and the top of the sub box is like the bottom of the sub box...... lol good idea?

No. Bad idea. Just put some sub boxes behind your seats. You truck flexes to much to cut a hole in it and put plastic there.

There are quite a few people who have managed to fit subs behind the seats. If you want to do something custom, you could do the seat mod and build a custom console to hold you amp & sub(s).

Ive seen plenty of single cabs with subs behind the seats. And what about gettin one nice sounding 10" throw it behind the passenger seat so u dont sacrafice any of your seat room...

Rockford Fosgate is an amazing sound... and two of em together ... heavenly! haha I would say the idea is a lot of work when there are good alternatives...

Just what Im thinkin... but hey its your truck and if that makes you happy go for it... post pics

I think it would vibrate way too much and possibly distort the sound..

though I like my bazooka tube!

I understand. I just don't think the toolbox would be the best idea, I think it would vibrate to much, just as FX2.3 said and it would really take a lot of work to build a good quality box.

Have you thought about removing the toolbox and custom making a box to go in the bed, something that will set level with or below the bed rails?

it will be down low and the box being on top will make it hard to take... like the top of the speaker box will be the bottom of the tool box that close of a fit i would jsut have to put down some type of rubber mat
