well the title pretty much explains it i was in my g.fs moms jeep today and relized how much i miss seeing the temp and direction im going and want a little mroe storage room so can someone help me with a full write up i ahve no idea what wires i need or anything like that.

now i have finaly read it that sounds like a pain in the *** but i still want one

 

it is actually not hard at all......once you get all the parts, the how-to is self explainatory, espically if YOU remove the parts from the Explorer....

 

true thats what im guna try and do

 

on of the easiest installs ive ever done. only hard part is lining up the mounting bracket to the hole you drilled so you can screw it to the roof.. took me like an hour to do when i did it the second time

 

sweet idk when im guna get to a junk yard to get one.

 

Not to thread jack, But I was about to install my OHC, so I went and read the install on your cardomain, and the wire colors don't match up with the harness on my console. Is it different with the auto dimming mirror? Also, does any body know how to wire in the auto mirror?
I have 14 wires in my harness:
2x Black
2xBlack/LtBlue
1ea of the following:
LtBlue/Orange
LtGrey/Black
LtBlue/Red
Purple/Orange
LtGreen/Orange
DkBlue/LtGreen
Red/Yellow
Black/Pink
White/Purple
Orange/White
Any help would be appreciated.
