hey guys i have the cobra 29ltd and its pretty big hardly any place to mount it and still have room for other gadgets, im looking in to the cobra 19 at walmart its a little more compact is it good does it get good range? anybody got on of places to mount that certain cb thanks

I don't have anyprobs with my lil cobra. I've got it hooked up to a 4' Firestik2 mounted on my toolbox. I mounted the cb to a '03 ashtry.....mine didn't have the smoker's package on it...it had a cubby hole. I converted to the ashtray, and mounted the bracket for the cb to the cuppy. It;s a nice location. Only problem i have with the location, is my hurst is a little too close to it....plus the hurst is a little too far away from me, so that'll get a relocation bracket to i don't hit the cb shifting into 3rd or 5th.

 

If you have an auto this place will work nicely. If you're tall you might bump into it but I'm short and I don't have any problems.
