I do remember that the newer rangers have a ocupancy sensor rather than an on/off switch on the dash like the older ones did for the passenger airbag. '10 & '11 had side curtain airbags mounted in the side of the seat backs. I'm resigned to finding a couple of buckets and a console from an '11 Sport and cover them with leather.
I can't seem to find anyone that'll hook up the electrinics involved with an explorer seat (equiped with air bags).
My Sport was made in Canada and (I guess) has a "bucket seat delete" option. My luck.
