My '00 didnt have a glovebox light, but i thought the earlier rangers had them..? The bulb is probably burnt out on your headlight switch because those do illuminate.

my 97 has a glovebox light, sounds like your bulbs are burned out in both lights.
i know my headlight switch back light never worked when i got my truck, i didn't know they lit up until i drove my dads truck.
im to lazy to make an led light for it, so i just deal with it being burnt out.

My 93 didn't come with one. I picked up one from the JY and the plug was already there.

I'm sure that there just isn't on there but i am gonna look for the plug and just get one from the junk yard....if thats the case...hopefully its just a burned out bulb.

My 99 xlt has no light for the glove box.

Your light for the head light **** is burned out. Look into the led switch mod.

LED switch mod is covered on my cardomain site, linked in my signature.

There's an index down the page, otherwise you'll get lost, lol...

My '98 came with no glove box light. I did grab one out of a wrecked Explorer over a year ago and was going to install it in my Ranger, but I got sidetracked and pretty much forgot I even had it. Now if I could just remember where I put it...
