Right now, I'm looking to switch out my seats and put in some Explorer bucket seats, along with a center console. I started looking on eBay for the seats and console, and ended up finding an '04 console out of an Explorer, in grey, which is what i wanted. Do you think or know if this console will fit in the rangers??? it looks a little wide to me. Anyone have any idea?? Let me know, thanks!!!

also, does anyone know where i might find a set of seats? I'd prefer leather, but cloth will do, just so long as they're grey!!

EDIT: Here's a pic of the console I've actually just won.. it was too cheap to just let go while tryin to find out if it would fit or not! any other i'd find was up over $100 sinse they're so new.

well i kinda doubt it since the new explorers are bigger that the rangers... just find someone with the console and compare measurements

Well... The other thing you could do is, you could make it fit, if you're in for some glassin' ;-D. Juss a thought.

I wanted to use that console for some Ideas in my ride. It's a nice console. Lots of room for customization too.

Good Luck,

- Dave

It doesn't really look as though it will go up against the dash like the other consoles do.
The newer explorers are a completely different bread from our rangers and are much bigger. I hope it works out but again I don't think it will.

With newer Explorer seats, you will probably run into width issues. I would look at Escape parts. There is less of a demand for them and they should not present width issues (though I would measure to be sure).

There is a reason there is less demand for Escape parts.
