Icon5 Mountaineer Seat Swap

Alright, here's the scoop.

I'm picking up leather seats out of a Mountaineer, along with a center console this weekend. Supposedly the guy will have everything taken out of the truck already, including wiring harness's, seats tracks, and seat belts. But, just in case, what would I need tool-wise to get everything out?

I searched and found this link https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...stall-how.html

According to that I'll need removals for T55 Torx, T50, T45, and an "Add A Fuse Thingy" <-- haha direct quote. It was a good write-up, I just want to double check.

Here is what I've concluded so far, PLEASE tell me if I'm wrong....

I will need to use the Mountaineer seat tracks.
I will be able to use the seatbelts (same as in a '99 Ranger, I checked) in my Mazda with the seatbelt clips on the Mountaineer seats.
I can use the seatbelt pretensioners from my Mazda with the new seats.
I can do it, by myself, with little to no help, in one afternoon.
I can wire it sraight to the fuse box, while running the ground directly under the carpet.

Here is what I'm workin with!

99 Rangers do not have pretensioners. 99 B-series should be the same.

Make sure that you use a fuse spot that is consistently on, that way when the truck is off, you still have power to move the seats. Also what I did was just run a single wire and tap into it for the passenger seat. I only had to drill out one of the mounting holes for my seats. Any questions let me know. I have some pics and can grab some more if needed.
