Gauge Swap

I'm getting ready to do the interior of my truck and trying to get everything lined up in order before buying the items. I've already found the fiberglass dash and now I'm wanting to go with a different set of gauge clusters for my truck. Would I have any problems with using the newer mustang lunar gauge cluster by auto meter in replacement of my factory 91' Ranger XLT (V6) gauges? How would I convert the mechaninal to digital on the odomator? And would I have to swap out the fuel pump/sender unit?

Wow, the things you would have to do for that to work. Honestly, the only thing that would prob work would be the speedo, cause of the cable, and then that would be off anyway.

Well the gauge cluster I was hoping to put along with this dash.

And looking up info on gauges I came across this information in frequently asked questions on the matter. My vehicle currently has a cable drive speedometer. How do I set it up to work with a VDO programmable speedo?
If you take your speedometer cable to a local speedometer shop, they should be able to install an upper end that will match the 340-011 pulse generator. This is the easiest and best way to hook up an electronic speedometer in a vehicle that was equipped for a mechanical speedometer.

So, it's given me some hope that it could work.
