Yes, there is a Bracket that mounts the Explorer Console to the floor... this is basically it...

Not sure if that would work in our trucks or not considering it came from a 94 Explorer, but from what i've seen they haven't changed much. If that won't work, ur next best bet is to go to a salvage yard and pull one from a 95-2000 Explorer. Hope that helps ya...

hmm.. i dont know if it matters or not, but that auction say's that bracket is for the short console, not the full length one. the one i plan on building will be a full length.

lol sorry, i didn't even notice it was for a short console (didn't even pay attention to that part) However i think the full length consoles have basically the same thing, just bigger maybe? check salvage yards... if the center console in the explorer looks like crap and they can't sell it, im sure they won't mind u taking the bracket

There is a bracket on the bottom of the console, but you still have to screw that bracket into the floor.

I screwed the middle bracket into the floor:

that pic ryan posted is more like i was thinking.. so as far as mounting that, we have to make our own mounting holes in the floor im guessing? (im assumming there isn't any premarked holes in the floor, right) if that's so.. looking at it, i could probably just creat my own brackets for it.. one less thing to buy from the JY that way. thanks for the help guys!

There are no holes. All the bracket is a piece of metal attached to the frame of the console. Just make your own.
