Electric Woes
My dad has a 1990 Ford Ranger. The dash lights was the first thing to go out, along with the lights behin the temperature controls. Next was the dome light. And finally the aftermarket radio. The radio's power light is illuminated, but the radio will not power on. I have checked all the fuses and they are working. I am not sure what to do from here. Has anyone had problems like this?

Dash lights run from the Head light switch/dimmer, it has power 24/7(all the time)
Dome light has power to it 24/7 and when you open a door or spin the Dimmer you are Grounding it.
Radio could be wired for 24/7 power, radio sound like the bad part though not the power.
I would start in the engine compartment fuse panel, I would also test for power at the dome light
