Help ASAP!!!!!

I did the little mod where you use transparent paint to change the colors on your gauges. That's all done and I'm re-installing everything. I got it all hooked up to make sure everything works and my tach isnt. It appears that everything else is working fine, but when I start it, my RPMs dont change nor when I rev. the motor. Someone please HELP!!!!

i dont think i did. I even took it off and held a really bright light up to it to see if the little thing the needle pushed onto was moving and no go.

how did you remove the needles and get them back in the right spot?

did you put it on the needle on the wrong side of the pin?

The tach signal should be the tan/yellow wire on the 16-pin connector that goes to the cluster. Might want to check the cluster side of that connector for damage...and the rest of that flimsy excuse for a circuit board as well. My vote is the needle, though. I had the speedo needle off when swapping the speedo/odo guts and its a pain to get it back on right.
