nervous about doing this...

Okay so im reaaaallllyyyy sick and tired of my brown interior and i want to paint it all black, i mean ALL black. and im just nervous about doing it because i dont want to have it peel or crack or "orange peel" etc; after im done painting it. Any advice as to make this go as smooth as possible? (ive read the sticky on this forum, didnt really help much.)

and make sure that there is nothing on it, like any kind of dirt or anything. let them dry 48 hours, longer than painting regualr surfaces.

Clean the surface with a strong degreaser like simple green, just make sure it's OK on plastic and what ever material you use. Spray on some adhesive remover which will clean what the degreaser can't Clean it off with a tacking cloth once dry. Prep is the key! Also make sure to put adhesive promoter down before you put the paint and if possible use vinyl dye.
