I found that the bucket seats out of a 99 Ranger will bolt to the tracks of my 03 Ranger Std Cab and in turn bolt right in.

Also, this is true for my 03, if you get another 40% Seat, the passenger one, and switch the driver’s side track/slider under it you will have a set of buckets.

you are swapping only the bottom pan, foam, and cover. the recline handle is attached to the frame, and you would be reusing the driver's frame. so the handle will still be on the outside just as it should. you will have an extra hole in the cover on the inside, but that should get hidden by a console, etc.

The Seat Pan, the part that you sit on and the foam and covering is attached to are all the same, passenger’s vs driver’s. You will need to unbolt the Tracking/Slider from under the seats and remove the passenger Track/slider along with the Tilt Adjuster.
When you bolt in the Driver’s Track/
Slider along with the adjusted all will fit as OEM.

IF you do this, take the back off of the seat first, then the underside track assembly; it will make it a lot easier to to do the change over.
The Seat Covers, although a PITA can e changed out also, time and patients are what is needed.
