The center console in my 97 Ranger is broken and I'm getting tired of it being in the way, I was going to just swap out for some Ranger seats in better condition but I remember hearing that you could swap out the Ranger bench seats with 2 bucket seats from the same year Explorer. I was thinking it'd be cool to put bucket seats in and get a bigger center console in between but I wanted to know what other makes and models of cars have interchangeable seats with my truck?

I had fox mustang seats that bolt right in. Sold those and got some nice 1991 ford escort seats, but had to make an adapter plate, so they would bolt together. Wasn't that hard. Just get the hole spacing, and had the two plates cut out on a laser plasma at work.
