Yes I did, except I used my dremel. It IS possiblke to roll back the miles as I found out when I majorly overshot my mileage point:) It's really not that hard, but being gentle is pretty much the thing you need to keep in mind...after all, one screw up and it could mean getting a new odometer!

For those of you looking for a Sport Trac cluster, or any cluster for that matter, check HERE

I got a Canadian (km/h) Sport Trac cluster comming from these guys and I only paid $50US with shipping.

Very good business and the owner (Mark) is very helpfull and friendly.

Give it a check!!!

EDIT: This same guy was selling them for $15 + shipping on eBay, but he hasn't posted any up there for a month now. Keep an eye on eBay, but if you don't feel like waiting around for the next one to show up, and 100 other people trying to bid on it....give Tacoma Speedometer a look.

Chris,

I gave Mark a call at Speedometer...he quoted me a price of 65+8 or 9 bucks for shipping . He also mentioned that he sells the guages indivually..not the whole cluster. You use your own stock cluster, glass, odo...

I just lost out on a cluster on ebay..it was in KM too! dammit..by 1.00 at the last sec!

Hmm, sounds like a different price for sure.......

I'm getting all the clusters individually and the odometer is part of the speedometer. There's plenty of How-to's for dash removal so replacing the individual gauges is easy.

Who won the cluster, Canadian or American? I was bidding on one (km'h) and some guy from the states won it....LOL......they are hard enough to find, harder in km/h, ah well......guess you never know.

Hopefully you find one.

Didn't check to see who won...but I sent Mark at TacomaSpeedo an email and asked if he'll come down in price. If so...I'll buy through him. He said on the phone they have like 60 of them just laying around...no reason why he shouldn't come down

He was saying that back when the US dollar was stronger, they would buy Canadian vehicles, change the speedo clusters to MPH, and sell 'em in the US.

As for the price, you are getting pretty new gauges..... Ford sells these gauges as a set, but just for the 3 pieces...not including the lense or housing, which is not apart of the cluster.

Fuel Gauge - $68.75
Speedo Head w/ Tach - $303.33
Oil Gauge - $54.72

Total - $426.80 (and that's US prices) taken from here

So $60 aint that bad.....LOL
