New seat foam??

Does anyone know if you can buy new seat foam for my 04 Ranger. I want to keep the seats since I like the color and I can get the cover replacement but I cannot find the foam.
The previous owner must have been a bigger guy because the driver side foam on the seat is compressed to the point that i can feel the metal frame with slight pressure. Let me know any lead on new foam.
Thanks guys

i did the expo seat swap when i replaced the leather on the driver seat bottom the supplier suggested a garmet steamer it will cause the foam to swell to its original shape. I got one for $20 at walmart and at least if it doesn't work all the way its not a totally useless tool or crazy expensive.

TASCA Ford’s on-line sales, says the 2003 versions are discontinued.

Check around you might find some still in the wrapper from Ford but also check your local auto-upholstery shop, you might get a better deal.

Another Ford Parts House called Fast Ford says they are available but expensive.

Approximately $270, I guess not too bad IF you really want them.

I think a little pricey too.
Check your local guys, not only can a local upholstery guy get you better foam it maybe less expensive.

The problem with most JY foam is it has been exposed to the elements and it is starting to break down and may not work well but check the JY too you might get lucky.

Good luck on the hunt.

It also depends on where you live. For me i live in CT so JY upholstery is usually nasty unless its been there for a few days. I just had my 04 Rangers seats re-upholstered because firstly I wanted Black vinyl and a dark gray accent and the driver side was torn to hell besides that. I looked everywhere man for replacements, even fabric ones I'd steam clean and use fabric paint on but i couldn't find anything. Seat covers are expensive for okay ones but they are still seat covers in the long run. replacement covers i couldn't find for a reasonable price until i came across one site that would custom make them for $300, but then I'd have to learn to take them apart.

ANYWAYS! What I'm getting at is after i called up four upholstery shops and got $800 minimum without even looking at them i found a guy that said about $400 and when i brought them to him (already in four pieces....long story) he said $450, just picked them up today and they look fantastic. That included fixing some of the foam. He even added padding, its so soft...like a womans tush. If i wasn't so **** i'd have them in right now but i want to paint the tracks...lol. totally worth the cash.

If your not in a rush and don't want to do complete color swaps and such just keep an eye out for JY seats that just arrive. It could take you a year though.

There is a guy on this site that makes ranger, fx4, LvLII, seat covers, his name is terry.
Search and see if you can find him, his prices are reasonable.
He might have foam sets available.
