Wow, see, I'm lucky, mine stayed in the water for about a minute. I was quickly pulled out, but i still got a TON of water in the cab.

I took off that fiberous mat underneath the rubber, now it's a little louder in the cab, but I'm herculining soon anyway.

I dont know if this will help anyone, I didnt see it mentioned here. After the huricanes my classic mustang got a fuzzy gray mold infestation from being in the humid garage and the garbage cans. I tried everything from cleaners, to removing the seats and scrubbing and was getting ready to ditch the entire interior. I spoke with a home treatment specialist who also happened to be a classic car person and he suggested that to kill the mold you have to kill the humidity. He was talking like all the way....I live in florida...thats impossible to do to a garage...so instead I bought a dehumidifier. It was a big $150 unit from lowes and ran it in the car only when I was home for a month. It did the job! Just a thought for dealing with it from 4x4ing. It the low humidity and heat (it creates heat as a byproduct) would be good for drying out all those places you cannot get to.

Don't mean to bust your ***** dude, but check out the date of the thread. Let dead threads die.

I actually did see the dates, I was going through old threads at the time. But figured I would add something that may help someone out. I have been on many BBs that say you should continue posting in the same thread instead of making 20 threads about the same thing because that takes up more bandwidth and storage space.

I really have to say that I am a little frustrated. This is the third time since I have come on here and have either tried to get people together for a definitive answer on something or tried to add a suggestion and instead of a response of "hey, I appreciate your response or answer but it wont work that way" or in this case "we try to let old threads retire, you should post that in a new thread", I get what comes off to me as rather curt and sometimes downright rude replies. These are not times when I am trying to get anything back. My problem is solved, posting the suggestion or the thread does not help me any. Also know that I have pretty thick skin and also may have taken this wrong. But I have never really seen it as bad even on some of the tuner boards. I am not saying I am going away or f yall I am leaving. More that I just dont understand why people on here are neg like that.

But more threads are allowed!

You could've made a thread "How do you dry out your interior?" then give your experiences. I've never seen a thread based solely on drying the interior.

And you know the only threads we don't like repeated are ones asking about body lifts/how tires look/etc.

I really don't care if you bumped the thread. In fact, that guy who just bumped yours, I bumped his 2 year old thread on him joining. It's kinda entertaining.
