anyway. lol my truck runs fine now. starter was locked with ice/mud some warm water thawed it right out, fired right up too.

 

I locked mine in the garage today and turned the furnace up and two hours later I had 2" of mud covering my floor! Truck dont even need a wash now!

 

Shane maybe when I see your truck half buried in mud I'll change my mind... but until then.......

 

id like to hope that is my case but i already spent 10 bucks washing it while it was still on the trailer.

yeah you dont want to see the interior! I am sure everyone else has got the same issue. I just wish it was warm out to clean it up

 

LOL! You guys are funny. Washing the trucks the next day. I still have mud on my interior from July!

 

That is one of my biggest fears when off roading is getting water in my cab. I dread it.

that is actually when i stopped. when they tried to pull me out i got further in rather than out.

the interior was flooded not sure if anyone got a shot on the other side.

 

ya for the people that werent there it was not easy to get to the other side and back lol... thus why it took Erv about 15 min to get back to the rear side of Zach truck

 

Why did you guys have a strap running to the back of your truck Zack instead of running the cable right to the winch cable to the truck? You know you should never use a ****** strap as a winch extension. It also looks like the reason you guys had a hard time getting Zack out is because you didn't have enough cable out on Evan's winch.

 

reason the strap was on there was Brian and Lando both tried to pull him out with just there trucks.. i think they just used it because it was there...

I agree on that both needed to move back to get some spooling out of the winches but i wasnt in charge they werent my winches.. lol

 

I think I need to give a winching 101 class this year at the Dunes meet.

I was the first to try and winch him out and my kid was pulling the cable out to his truck when multiple people started yelling to him to just hook it to his strap.....I guess I was more worried about Zach sinking deeper and sucking water and it never occured to me to not do that. Then when I couldnt budge him Evan pulled up and they hooked to the strap also.

That whole situation was a clusterf#*k because there were guys just standing there watchin that had trucks that could have snatched him out. I had a guy in a Suburban ask me to try and pull him out with my truck!
