I know this is a FORD RANGER TRUCK site. I also know most of you guys are into RAISED trucks.
That said, a few of the local Low-Rider
clubs had a car show today. Most are chevys. I don't care.
As far as I'm concerned ANYONE that puts this much work into his vehicle, deserves credit in my book.
of what he/she drives. Thought some of you would like to see some pics.
Thought I'd start with this one for those of you impressed with "extension."
That front wheel is 18"-20" off the ground, and the truck is parked with the
engine off. There is NOTHING but air under that wheel.
This is what it takes to power the above setup.
A very clean, vintage Chevy P-U
A very nice S-10
The name of this car is "Cocaine
Look closely and you'll see a $20 bill imbedded in the paint on the front fender.
Graphics and ghost flames are not really my thing.
If you like this sort of thing judge for yourself.
Will say the kid did a nice job though.
This is a very nice 1965 Chevy Impala. The sun roof alone represents many
hours of work. It's not just a simple pop up. The powered glass slides back into the roof.
It's like what you see in many newer cars/trucks.
The workmanship is flawless. Looks like a factory install.
When I talked to the owner he told me the paint was 17 years old, and it's still flawless.
Now for all us Ford guys. This is a late model F-150 Crew Cab.
Front doors are lambo, rears are gull winged. You have to see the paint
to believe it. Just fantastic. It was done by his son in their garage.
All I can say is beautiful, just beautiful.
And finally for those of you to young to have your drivers license yet.
You don't have to wait until you do to get into the custom thing.
Note the "continental kit" on the gold bike. Very old school. (can you say 50's)
I might do something like this for my grandson in a few years. LOL
Finally, for the record. EVERY one of these cars/trucks is a DRIVER. Not a trailer queen in the lot.
I watched them all drive in. Some of them were from 50-75 miles away.
They all had the minor scratches and rock chips, acquired when driven regularly.
You could see all these cars have had many hours of TLC lavished on them.
