Also a nice dent on the bed side and little scuffing on the roof...and thats it damage wise, other then a part of the caliper started rubbing but we fixed it at the end of the trail.

Stupid Yucca was holding us back the entire way!

I didn't get a lot of pics but we ended up with my truck a 4x4 expedition and an f-250 winch equipped and it took all these trucks to get him back up.

glad to hear you guys got it out with no additional casualties.... ive heard of people trying to tow out cliffed vehicles and then getting pulled down themselves

I'm gunna venture to say speed, lack of lighting, and not paying attention to where he was.

Got out lucky, hope a lesson is learned.

My impression from the other thread was it was caused by an unwanted ABS activation combined with excessive speed for conditions. A few more details would be nice though...first time on this road? blind corner? etc.

i guess Rangerjustin doesn't want anyone to know the reason why the accident happened. either it was a stupid manuever or the rest of the guy's there told him not to tell what happened.
RangerJustin? tell your friends here at R-F what really happened!

lets just say i was trying to keep up with someone...

it was dark, very dusty and yes, i was driving too fast for the coniditions. next time, im gonna take it more easy and take out my ABS fuse
