cool pics! and x a billion on not using the trailer ball
its made to tow a trailer with a continuous force exerted upon it. not a sudden jerking using excess force.
i've heard about it happening, sounds messy.

I know as much as the next guy that pulling from the trailer ball is a big no no, but in the majority of cases, it was just a little tug that was needed to get a vehicle that was high centred or stuck in a rut. As you can see with the GO Ranger, he was pretty stuck and I admit he took some big yanks to get out of there and that definetly did put a lot of force on both his and Dan's trucks.

That red S10 had a hook in the receiver, so nothing wrong with that.

On the bright side, nobody broke anything or had their vehicle immobilized.

And for anyone wondering, this was only the 2nd time I've ever been wheeling, and my truck's first time with some real tires on it.

Just a few pics of my truck's mess this afternoon lol. It gets a lot of WTF looks around town and little kids seem to like it haha.

All this mud would look so much better with a double lift and some 33s.

looks like a blast out there. and thats a sonoma, not an s-10. its gmc's version.

and fun cleaning that cover. they tend to be a b*tch to clean after mud has dried on it.

Dont pull with a hitch ball like that. Put the loop in the hitch itself with a hitch pin though it.

Same sh*t, different pile.

I just washed the truck. Cleaning the tonneau was no problem.

yeah get rid of that ball hitch, whether its a small tug or not it doesnt take much. Also most people get seriously injured or killed when those break. I dont want to see any of that.
