Where I work they are doing a 13 week voluntary lay off. The stipulation is when you return to work it might not be in the same position.

We just had something similar to that
3 month voluntary layoff
You had to sign a paper they gave you 3500 dollars then they might call you back on March 22nd if they didn't you were fired.
Those called back only about 4 are now making less and doing something different.
3500 dollars was for 3 months of pay plus the unemployment so you really didn't lose any money
