I dont drink, but the drinking is normally pretty low key.

I think everyone can be adults about it.

There are usually several camp sites, and you can have your own fire or go over to others. Out on the dunes its family friendly for sure, good times out there.

A helmet would be a good idea for the kids. I've seen many people have young kids with them, and have bike helmets on them in the car in a car seat. Or if you can work it out, maybe leave them at home for the weekend.

Don't leave them at home, I think the kids would enjoy it. I know I would have loved to go out when I was a kid

Alright I asked the expert. My GF has a teaching degree in early childhood. In her opinion, 2 years old would be to young for out there, to much bouncing and a pretty long day. That's just what she thinks, but she's not their parents.

Im one of the drinking people but we can be good, I can't promise evey swear word or beer will be hidden from there little eyes and ears, but I have little cousins and I know how they sponge crap up.

But we ussually drink a few and walk around, so its not bad. Its not like we are party animals lol.

As for age riding in the dunes. 2 years old is pushing it. There is alot of bouncing around. I know infants can get shaken baby syndrom, but I am not sure how old they have to be before they can't get it?

You could always take it real easy, but drop offs do happen. Most the time when I see little kids they are in 5 points and helmets.

My back and kneck hurt a couple times when riding in zachs truck,,,but he was also going 60 MPH accross the dunes lol.

My 2 year old is not happy unless she is playing in the mud in dads truck or riding the 4 wheeler with by the river. She is not your average 2 year old. I will have to give it some thought.
