We can just talk about where we could go, what times, what to do, maybe camp out overnight, go out to eat, and who is bringing what. I know it was easier for everyone when I just bought everything and you guys payed me back but it didn't work as planned for me and I didn't even make back what I payed to get the food. I was $30 short so maybe if people could just help out a little more and contribute more items or whatnot cause it's pretty tough getting the meet all together. Making sure that those who are coming are accounted for is a daunting task by itself so it would be nice to get some help with getting food and plates and garbage bags like we did the first time. If we have multiple people bringing different items we need to the meet, then it just makes things much easier instead of it being a one man show. Shaun has offered to remind everybody about the food and other contributions, but we still need the rest of you to contribute to make the next meets even more enjoyable than the previous ones.
we dont want to do them to often cus then they lose there big huge meet experience so lets keep them atleast couple months apart.

Just to let those newer people know that this is just the planning thread there will also be another official thread with all the info needed so don't say something here and stop talking because we need to know who is coming so chat it up and periodically tell us you're coming or else we won't account for you and you'll be out in the water

 

I'm down for rancho in august. That will probally be my last meet for awhile. The wife is due in September, so we will have to see how everything works out.

 

Maybe go to a store during the meet. At one meet I put together back in NY we did that. It was a 2 day meet and the first day we hung out and then the second day we met up and went to the store before we went to cook out. Each person bought a few things and we were good to go.

And Just for planning purposes - Don't forget the Florida 4 wheel drive campout is (?) MLK weekend every year at Sertoma Youth Ranch by Dade City . Anyone can come it's basically a 5 minute meeting ( you don't have to attend ) and the rest of the weekend we trail ride all over. Plenty of places for 2 and 4wd's to play within 30 miles of there...

there are a couple of us around there. st augustine is abotu 2 hours away from me and ormond beach is about hour and a half away. its not actually to far from ocala which is were there is a lot of wheelin and couple guys are at. if you move down let me know for sure!
ya thats what i was thinking possibly push it november to get a lot of people if we can get tthe word out and be nice camping weaather. it actually wasnt to bad may 14th andme and a couple guys camped out. just sucked cus a huge storm came tthrew so we just sat in the trucks and talked on the cbs ha. cool ya ill have to check that out to sounds fun
