ok.. sasquatch inn. take a left at the stop sign behind it.. Do not go straight through, that is morris valley. Follow the road till you get to a big bridge that crosses chehalis river and there will be a ford in the road right after. Turn left, follow for maybe 2 minutes and the stop will be right there on the river.
Too bad the Wilson Lake trail is boned, that woulda made a wicked camping trip. Great little crawl up to it and the lake's amazing for scenery. I only have a couple of old pics of it but I'll post some of them up. I think we did this trail about 5 or 6 years ago when I still owned my '90 Ranger..
You might have owned it too, I think just about everyone has at one point
I bought it from Steve Dillen in MR. it had roughly 425k on the odo it was was weeeell abused far before I got it. Apparently it started life as a fisheries truck used to stock trout lakes around SW BC. Any abuse I ever put it through (including an 8000 km trip to Alaska and back) was about the nicest treatment it ever got. LR
pics?? did you trade for that pile of **** daniel??
haha yep, couldn't pass up the deal... everything about it was better than my truck.
I will post pics of the truck once I get a camera, but it is a completely different truck than those pics in the ad let me tell you :P
Alas, another trip I'll be missing. I'll be in Christina Lake chasing around some turkeys hoping to get one to deep fry. Sometime in there I'll be riding the quad around Trail/Castlegar as well. I'm gone April 12 - 23, and I'm working that weekend but gimme some co'ords Jesse so I know where you guys will be cause I'm done 9 am Sun morning and I'm not back until 8 pm so I can swing out for lunch if you guys are still out there. LR
'09 Ford Ranger FX4 that gets abused a lot... but doesn't like to swim though.
me and jesse were there 2 weeks ago and the way in is might be rough on a car but it could still do it, so getting in for us won't be a problem. If there does happen to have been a land slide then its just more fun to get in lol
Landslide? Uhhh..... the whole MOUNTAIN is across a couple kilometres of road towards the north end of the lake. I doubt they'll rebuild anything any time soon since there's adequate access from the north (via Mystery Creek) yet they arbitrarily blocked it off for some stupid reason - there was some neat trails up there.
So where exactly are you guys camping or did I just miss it? LR
