Another Ford truck based group is holding a Meet & Greet

Figured I'd throw it out there.

Red Hook is basicly behind Paddy's in the Pease Trade Port.

Paddy's is a Bar/Pub/restaurant.

I will probably be headed over to Paddy's than do what I did last year and take off when everyone heads next door to the Tour.
I knew this but compleatly blanked that it's my moms B-Day so I have to (ok, should) hang out with her.
I'm not huge beer drinker anyway.

I may have the winter beater in stead of the Ranger. Depends on weather or not one of the guy's from Mass is bringing his winter beater so we can compair them (we have the same beaters).

99OFR - I am bringing the Ranger. The "other" guy is hitch hiking a ride from another member. Something about not wanting to be cramped in his 74 Bronco for 2.5 hours.

 

I work this sunday so i won't be able to make it. I never get scheduled for sundays but i am this week. Oh well, theres always next time i guess haha

Not to jack the thread but do you guys ever get together to go on the trails?

 

im always down for trails but nobody ever makes their mind up. I know one other person on here that will go with a few weeks notice though

 

Not tipicaly. Most of the guys have 3/4 tons and larger. It has been brought up but nothing much came of it. For some reason the ranger guys want to go out to get dirty and the bigger trucks want to stay relatively clean. Might also have to do with an age thing as well.

I had a BBQ meet at my place once and a bunch of us piled into one of the guys trucks and we went on some of the fire acess roads behind my house.

I contimplated putting together a trail ride meet once. We would hit up a few trails and a bit of mud possibly. Unfortunatly most of the places I know about from my high school years have been shut down and/or blocked off or paved over. Depending on time (which is probably unlikely) I may do a bit of running around and see the state of the places I know near my house this spring/summer.

On a personal note I did a bit of mud running and playing in high school. After kolidge and moving around a bit I now play on the asphalt in the form of SOLO II racing. Or auto crossing as some people call it.
