you guys all have to set up a stave meet for me when i come out there with my truck for a week or so after the olympics... i'm a surrey boy born and raised, would love to come out and get muddy out there.. i always had my mustang when i lived there
(p.s. if you want an 89 5L mustang with bc reg, let me know!)
I worked around my dad's for part of the day then gave up because of the weather. My gramps in Princeton wasn't answering his phone and was supposed to be down yesterday so I wandered up to check on him, turns out he didn't leave due to the weather and changed his # cause someone kept mixing it up and was calling him late at night.. At least he was fine. My mom contacted the RCMP and they couldn't find him, he was up at his gf's place hahaha. Crazy ol' bugger.
Caught a football-sized rock on the highway leaving town this morning and it cost me a 20k old KM2. Gotta find out from Kal Tire tomorrow if its toast or if they can fix it (1.5" gouge in the tread, it went flat real fast). The suspension and wheel's ok though, gotta love those cheap steelies. LR
'09 Ford Ranger FX4 that gets abused a lot... but doesn't like to swim though.
Sure hope so! Its a nasty gouge though, I'm thinking its going to end up being a pro-rated replacement.
I can say one thing, stock tires and aluminum rims and they both would have been shot, that bastage was nasty to run over. I had no choice, tight corner and oncoming traffic. It was the rock or a family.. Tires are replaceable. LR
I won't lie, it crossed my mind knowing full well that they'd avoid me and just drive on the shoulder, I just couldn't see who was behind them thats all (60 km/h corners just west of Princeton, lots of loaded trucks up there who won't dodge cars). Maybe I just earned some karma points for being an ashole all the time, who knows eh. LR
Ashcroft's off Hwy 1 up by Cache Creek, but yup, Hwy 3 is the one through Manning Pk and has the Hope-Princeton slide on it. I love the road, lived on it my entire life so I'm pretty familiar with it but you really gotta watch it for rocks and deer. LR
